Nothing against kitsch, I love it, but I don't always want it in perfume, nor do I want such elaborate scent stories all the time that would keep my from forging my own. i smell both caramel and vanilla and they are very nice here, the caramel is a bit salty which i like a lot. Definitely wasn't expecting it to smell like warm caramel cream, and definitely didn't think I was going to even like it but I do, I love it! With a bit of the wild ’60s, a little Nouvelle Vague, and some shiny Pop thrown in, the Prada Candy family takes extremity to the extreme, jumping from one obsession to the next. Again, we are talking about the fragrance that lasted days and days on my scarves and other clothing; maybe even weeks.

It’s pretty and I do really like it but a bit disappointing because I’ve been into food-y fragrances lately, lol.I was so stunned when reading the reviews on this page that I had to double check if we were talking about the same fragrance. It’s therapeutic: as any expert will tell you mindfulness involves engaging your senses and what better way to do so for a “fraghead” than by trying new scents? I have no idea if this has been getting reformulated every few years or if I just interpret it differently throughout my life.

I definitely think Candy EDP would be bomb for layering as it does cling very well to my skin and the base is super smooth. This isn’t bad it’s really not its just not meant for gourmand lovers it’s meant for people who like a little something that’s cozy they can personally enjoy on themselves with out projecting there scent to others they may share a small space with and be confident if they have to give someone a hug or shoulder to cry on they smell warm and inviting when they do. if i had to smell a sweet scent on someone, i'd choose something like this because of it's subtlety, however, i'm not sure i could wear this myself. This perfume is hard for me to smell given I just might be anosmic to the type of musk they decided to use for this.Prada Candy is a cocktail of musk, benzoin and caramel notes, the caramel is the underpinning note in this fragrance which creates an unforgettable scent. I absolutely love this smell, it’s so powdery and sweet and cute, it’s so beautiful but sadly the longevity is extremely weak. On paper, it's still the type of scent I should like but this reminds me of sitting outside of the club at 4 a.
